On Christmas, December 25, we had an unusual patient: a little Buddhist monk, Dorji from Bhutan, who flew to the Czech Republic for leg surgery.
When we entered the room, a nice boy with a shaved head was lying in bed, smiling at us.
He was just out of surgery. We tried Jingle Bells. He said that he doesn't celebrate Christmas, but that he really likes carols. And so we added a few more. He received a pair of socks from the Gentlemen's Club of Ponožkovice as a gift from us, and Dorji was smiling from ear to ear!
